Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using services provided by Engine AI Labs LLC, referred to in these Terms as Engine AI Labs, we, us, or our, including AeonAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Use of Services

  • You must comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
  • You are responsible for your content and your interactions with our services, including AI features. Do not use the services for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
  • You must not interfere with or misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, or use the services in a way that could harm other users or our systems.

Third-Party Providers and AI Features

Some features rely on third-party providers to operate. This includes OpenAI for certain AeonAI features, email delivery providers, Open-Meteo for certain weather, geocoding, and time-related lookups, Google News and YouTube sources for certain news and media lookups, and Apple Music or iTunes services for certain music lookups.

If you use AeonAI chat or voice features, content you submit may be processed through those providers as described in our Privacy Policy, including user text and messages, recent conversation context, saved persona or preferred-name context when used in chat, submitted voice audio, transcript text, and generated reply text used for voice replies.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Intellectual Property

We and our licensors own all rights in the services and content. You retain rights in content you submit, subject to licenses necessary to operate features you use.

Account Termination and Deletion

You may stop using our services at any time.

In the current AeonAI iOS app, branded in-app as ‘Aeon,’ users can open Settings from Chat by long-pressing the Aeon button and tapping the gear icon.

In the current AeonAI iOS app, the delete account path is: Chat -> long-press Aeon button -> tap gear -> Settings -> Account -> Delete Account.

In the AeonAI iOS app, deleting your account is different from clearing chat history. Account deletion is intended to remove your account and associated app data. Some limited report, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal records may still be retained where legally required or where necessary to investigate abuse, enforce these Terms, or protect users and our services. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to other users, our services, or the public.

Disclaimers

Services are provided as is without warranties. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use discretion and verify important results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engine AI Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility.

Changes

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The Last Updated date indicates the latest revision.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, USA.
